Langwood Commons
For Langwood Commons I developed and rendered site plans for a steeply sloping site that demanded complex grading in order to accomodate below grade parking and circulation through the site. I acted as project architect during the initial design phase, working with designers, structural engineers and MEP consultants to develop the prototypes for townhouse, apartment flat, and condo flat buildings. During the further development of a full schematic design package I acted as project manager, managing an in-house team of seven, plus consultants. I also made presentations to town selectmen and to town meeting as part of a successful "friendly 40B" process. This project was put on hold, hung up in the state approvals process as a consequence of its adjacency to the Middlesex Fells Reservation.
